Called in for lunch. Lovely warm welcome. Food was great & prices really good. Good selection of drinks & quick service.

Visited on a Saturday night with friends for drinks. Bustling, great atmosphere. Quick service with a smile 😊

Same great atmosphere, and the best pint of SA. New menu, no longer do my favourite ham, egg and chips, so a little bit disappointed. We had the cowboy burger, hunters chicken and the curry, all very nice.

This is the first Carling's I've had in many a year! The Mrs and I split a "dirty fries". These were ok.

The service here was very friendly. We were told that you "don't drink shanties in the oldest pub in Wales!"

This is a real, local pub. We were introduced to locals that have come here every day for years. Very impressive.

Absolutely incredible spot to watch a rugby match. There was an amazing crowd after a Welsh rugby match, and the bar was vibrant and alive. Definitely the best rugby pub I have ever experienced.

A classic Cardiff pub, nicely kitted out and with good burgers!

Travelled 45 minutes as I heard there were panini stickers to swap. Nice homely pub, in a great location in Cardiff City centre. Staff were friendly and helpful, and had a couple of pints while watching the football and collecting some stickers. Will be back!

Great old traditional cardiff pub. Great atmosphere and a great wellcome. Took our french friends for new year they loved it. Plus good brains beer.
