Really friendly with great food... The beef and ale pie was one of the best I have had... Same for the chips. Can't wait to go back

Nice place staff are very efficient food is very good however for the price the portions bit stingy with the meat and so on compared to going to a carvery for same price. Good choice of meats. Did find that the table I was seated at was very sticky needed to be cleaned properly .

Would like to thank all of the staff (especially the chef) for a fabulous 3 course Sunday lunch.The food was hot and fresh all for a remarkable price. Thank so very much, very enjoyable afternoon, we will definitely be back soon.

Took mum for Sunday dinner today. The service was warm and friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic. Portion sizes were very generous. And the bill was good value too. Thanks for a lovely dining experience.

Visited yesterday, had the pie! What an awesome meal..just proper food cooked with passion and served with pride. Great hosts too. We will definitely eat here again...and again...

Lovely food the steak and ale homemade pie very tasty plenty of meat pastry cooked perfectly .chips peas and onion rings came hot .enjoyed by myself and my mum .friendly bar staff and chef highly recommended place to eat not the 1st time we have been will be back 👌 sorry forgot about a photo 😅
