Had a delicious burger with bacon and cheese (was a special of the evening), that came with onion rings, salad and chips, which were definitely homemade, perfect! My partner had a curry and it was also delicious. The staff was super friendly and COVID measures were in place to make the dining experience a comfortable and relaxed one.
Extra bonus is that the pub is less than 10 minutes walk from the Keeper's Lodge Campsite!

Asked the landlord if he had a certain tupe of gin. 'No' was the response. Awkward silence waiting for him to offer the types of gin he did have...didn't appear he could be bothered. A swift exit.

It’s amazing to have John & Joy back running the pub. The food is outstanding definitely restaurant quality with large portion sizes excellent value for money. We attended yesterday for a family meal celebrating my partner’s mother’s 80th birthday. We received such a warm welcome upon arrival especially as two of our family members have mobility issues. We all ordered different meals off the menu it all came out together excellent presentation and service. The Pub has been recently renovated and looks great we would highly recommend and will definitely be returning very soon.

What a lovely little village pub. Very friendly atmosphere and very welcoming and friendly staff. We stayed just up the road and ate/drank here two nights in a row. The food was absolutely amazing and great value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit

This is a great pub with brilliant staff in a very friendly village, my party came into the village for a quiet stag party to enjoy ourselves. We had one of the owners as a host whom was brilliant, a humourous man that sorted our every request. The lamb pie and carpenter pie especially was very delicious and would recommend. All in all a very pleasant experience with delicious food and would recommend with all holidaymakers.
