Wonderful place!! Fantastic location. Staff very helpful. Stayed over night. Stayed when there was a storm going on in February, can only imagine how lovely it would be in the summer 🌞😁

Cracking location and friendly staff. No problems with the dogs, suffers from having no car park but it is a beach front pub. Sadly can't give 5 stars as remember too well from old when it was a top notch place to eat. Now basic pub grub but still well worth a visit

Updated my review as second visit was better. Food was nice and new staff member was very friendly and helpful. A good pub with beautiful view and very close to the beach

Went for a meal to celebrate a joint birthday with family. When we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome by Chris and seated in the conservatory area.
We could see straight away how busy The Ship Inn was. However our Waitress Helena was fantastic in how quickly she took our drinks and food orders.
The food was piping hot and which was really good quality with very generous portions.
We were also at the end of our meal able to witness a breathtaking sunset.
Will certainly be booking again.

Lovely location and an excellent menu and drinks. Sadly we couldn't book on the evening, so make sure you book ahead. Great views!

Great welcome, clean (I didn't go full Four in a Bed) and well appointed room, lovely shower and comfy bed. View was lovely (see pics). Good value and quality food (ate breakfast and dinner), good service, three cask lines, usual range of keg and good range of spirits, service from all staff excellent, friendly locals, close to beach and walks. Saw dolphins both days when eating breakfast! Only (technical) downsides: no other pubs/restaurants close walk by if you were staying for longer and wanted variety, bathroom window wouldn't fully close (wasn't in any way an issue, so much so we forgot to mention at check-out). We definitely plan on returning. For longer.

Had a really enjoyable meal last night. The food was good, staff were helpful, friendly and smiley. The room was a comfortable temperature and looked so pretty with all the lights. Nice to see a place busy which is also a good sign. Hadn't been back for several years as it wasn't a good place to go, very pleased to see that things have very much changed for the better, well done 👍

The Ship inn is a hidden Gem.
Beautiful location.
Lovely food and the staff are very helpful.
We visited here early February while taking a break for our birthday.
I would recommend booking early as this is a popular place .
Definitely be back in the summer.
