At the end of the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, its a dog friendly pub, with a decent amount of outdoor seating to people watch. We visited a couple of times whilst staying in the area. The food we tried was average and a little pricey for what we had, in my opinion but it is in a nice spot.

Nice pub for a family day out. The food is not superb but do the job for a day out with your family. The surrounding is absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly. Car parking accessible

The Pub is a pretty standard pub with some decent food to offer. As well as that we got some pretty fast service as well as being able to pay with card.

We love this pub. Nice choice of drinks and food. The best part however the is lovely landlady. She has all the time in the world for you know matter how busy she gets. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Very close to the aquaduct.

Was a stop of on way home, nice view of canal and boats. Only had a drink, but what we saw the food looked really good. Have a seating area in and outside so in good weather you can eat outside, was very dog friendly too. Was a bit dated but very clean.

Our go to when we are in Llangollen. Being able to sit and drink watching boats go past is just relaxing.

Tried the food this time round and wow recommend for anyone stopping or passing by.

Can sit in our out, decent benches with umbrellas if too sunny.

Also dog friendly, whilst offering doggy ice cream.

Old fashioned pub - reminiscent of the 60s. Good choice of food - the home made steak and ale pie was excellent, though when we returned our next meal was just o.k. Great choice of different icecreams though.
Not a good choice of beers - on both occasions both hand pump bitters were off.
In a nice canalside spot by the Trevor Basin and the aqueduct.
The pub is accessible for wheelchairs - most room in the large room of the bar.
