Fantastic food today. Walk in but the landlady accommodated us even though the table was reserved for later. Very impressed with the service here. Thx brown trout.

Had Sunday lunch here and was delicious I went back for a 2nd visit for a 40th birthday family meal and was told when booking there would be a specialist menu as coming into the festive season. When we arrived we were told they are no longer doing this and an alternative menu was in place.

The choice was limited and the kids menu was minimalistic. The food was of adequate portion size and Expensive.

Went with family. Superb Fish and Chips and a welcoming and friendly environment. The kids' meals were all hearty and well sized. Would come again.

Came for food and a few drink. Shared a huge 32 oz tomahawk with my partner, which was superb. Drinks were great. Service was fantastic and the pub is very well cared for. Will definitely be revisiting some time soon.

Visited the Brown Trout after a friend said the steaks there are out of this world. So I did what any sensible person would do and booked a table for two. Pub is easy to find and a nice covered seating area was at hand. Staff were very friendly and attentive and looked after us both. I had the 32oz tomahawk steak which was a special on offer at the moment. It was indeed out of this world and one of the best steaks I've had. Do yourself a favour and if you visit and the tomahawk is available. Order it.
