It's nice. Lovely breakfast and very friendly. Basic but nice and well priced at a fiver. Bacon, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast,fried bread, £2 for a bottomless bucket of tea or coffee or hot chocolate . Also we saw the carvery been put out for Sunday lunch and that looked incredible.

Food was really nice. Choice of a carvery or full menu. Drinks very reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Exceeded expectations. Worth a try.

5 different meats all home cooked veg all hot and lovely, friendly chef !! Delicious dont think anywhere would beat it!!! Well done travellers inn...great refurb looks fab and plenty more room all the staff lovely and friendly...we'll be back soon and will recommend to friends and family...100%

Beautiful experience, friendly staff and quality food. Chef Tony is as he's always been, outstanding. As soon as we sat down we knew what we wanted and it was delivered to a tee. Cooked beautifully and clean plates all round. I would recommend to everyone.

Went to visit Chef Tony to try a Sunday carvery, absolutely amazing so tasty meat cooked perfectly I had the lamb and beef.
Service great and the other Tony equally as charming, Wanted to have room for dessert but not a chance maybe next time .

Had a lovely lunch today my only grip was it could have been a bit hotter

We called on the off chance after reading all the reviews and we where not disappointed!! It was fab the portions where huge and it was just delicious they have every choice in meat and veg and the gravy, was perfect!! We will definatly going back again, thank you..

Staff are nice but carvery disappointing. Not sure if it's like this because of covid but food bland. They could do with another menu not just carvery. I must reiterate that the staff are very nice and welcoming which makes a difference.
