Excellent food. Beautifully decorated throughout. Upstairs restaurant is lovely. New games room with pool table. Lovely staff. Something to consider....it always looks closed even when it's open...something to do with the solid door! Really like this bar/restaurant.

Lovely pub. Nice beer garden where the kids had a blast. Service a little slow, but well worth it. Food was beautiful and large portions. Great value for money.

Stayed here during a long distance Army move, the ladies were brilliant. Rooms are clean with everything you need. Generously stocked with extras such as beverages and toiletries. Breakfasts are large and lovely and evening meals were good too. Super hospitality and customer service.

Loved the tomato soup here and asked for a cheese sandwich ! Really well done! Wonderful lunch. A bit late in serving. Very close to the lake so perfect if you'd want to stop for a bite. Looks like it's for the localities but that's wonderful in getting the local feel and hearing the English accent which is wonderful! There is parking here.

Very slow service. The waitress took our order straight away but then we waited an hour for our food. I ordered a baked potato and curry topping which was nice when it eventually arrived. The female waitress was very nice but the male sever was a bit flippant in his attitude.
They served food to people outside first who ordered after us. I assume they knew them personally because they sat and socialised with them.
We did receive a dish of onion rings for waiting so long, but they took the place of onion rings that were missing off other meals. This would put me off returning to this place again !

We had a lovely stay at the Red Lion this weekend. The ensuite room was clean, comfortable and we slept well, but lacked WiFi, which I would have expected for the price. We dealt with Stacey during our stay, who was polite, charming, hard working and made us two amazing breakfasts to set us up for the day.

Amazingly friendly staff. Made even more amazing by their cheerfulness in the face of the fact that they were being forced to move out, as the pub had recently been sold, with the intentions of fitting it out and turning it into a 'gastro-pub'! Stop by at this homely pub, while you still can .

I have just had lunch at the Red Lion in Llangorse. The food was fabulous. The landlady Katie Coop and the rest of the staff were friendly and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. It is no surprise that I will be returning soon.
