The Queen Inn

We've been about 4 times now and each time we've had something different and we have not been disappointed.
It's an all vegan menu but do not be put off if you're not vegan or vegetarian - you would never know.

On my last visit I had the Madras made with a vegan alternative to chicken; the vegan "chicken" pieces were nice and big and the sauce had a nice kick to it. For afters I had a slice of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.

We visited the Queen Inn on a boiling hot Sunday afternoon after a long drive. On the phone previously when checking availability, the lady was very accommodating. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we turned up too, giving the impression that nothing was too much trouble. We really liked that although it was completely plant based, it still had the charm of a traditional local welsh pub. The drinks options were good, with, decent cask ales, keg beers, ciders and lagers available
I had a pint of Tiny Rebel Easy living, which is one of my favourite breweries and local.
The food we had was a Traditional chicken roast and a Mediterranean tart. Both were very good sized portions, with all the sides and trimmings being to a good standard. The Traditional chicken and Med tart were both very tasty too. It all came out in good time with no problems. I have tried many vegan roast dinners before, more often than not I come away very disappointed. This on the other hand was fantastic. I can't recommend the experience of going here enough. Keep being vegan, keep being awesome, keep being The Queen Inn.

A MUST visit for vegan / veggie food in Wales. A typical country pub with a 100% plant based menu. Delicious mains and desserts. Dog friendly with a small menu for your furry friend. Outdoor seating available with plenty of parking. The food is absolutely full of flavour, taste and deliciousness.

Being vegan its always a hassle scrolling
through the menu trying to find something different from the usual plant based burger. But at the Queen Inn you don't have that problem as everything including drinks are vegan. The service was excellent and the prices were not over the top. I highly recommend the Queen Inn Cymbran.

Really enjoyed our first visit to The Queen Inn, Cwmbran. They've opened up a few more spaces for their festive menu if you want to book. Totally delicious and very full!! Can't wait to visit again. Keep up the great work! As a vegan I love being able to choose anything on the menu :-)

Wow ! Once again another pub/restaurant that deserves more than 5 stars
Jumped straight into my top 2 vegan places.
Everything is vegan and every single plates we ordered were amazing.
The quality, the quantity, the prices ... All top.
The staff is really nice and friendly.
This is a dog friendly restaurant as well.
Please come and visit them, you won't regret it a second.

Wonderful pub and absolutely delicious vegan food. It was our first time trying vegan prawns and we were blown away by how tasty they were. We also ordered the bbq ribs, chorizo, the ultimate burger and the Buddha bowl. We loved every single dish! For pudding we had blueberry cheesecake and the orange chocolate tart. They were some of the best vegan desserts we've tried! I fell in LOVE with that cheesecake. We can't wait to come back soon and try more!

Absolutely incredible food 😍😍 lovely staff that really care about the service they provide. From a vegetarian and a full meat eater we really enjoyed our experience and could not fault the flavour of each dish we received. Highly recommend and will certainly be returning.
