Lovely place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat. Very reasonably priced and good quality food. Bar staff lovely and helpful. One young guy stood out especially, unfortunately I didn't get his name but he looked after our party very well.

Such a lovely sunday roast! We booked a table as we didnt know how busy it would be. We were late getting there, had phoned to prewarn them and we were told it was not a problem. Then when we arrived we struggled to park as we had a motor home and a car, they said they would keep our table for abit longer incase a spot became free, and it did! And i am so pleased. The food was delicious, all freshly cooked, plenty veg for both of us, at such a bargin price! We both had lamb. I had sticky toffee pudding with custard and my mum had raspberry pavlova with ice cream and those portions were a good size aswell.
The staff were lovely aswell, friendly and polite. All in all, a great place to eat, i definitely recommend it.
Thank you so much.

The Red Lion is an absolute gem and a focal point of community life in the village. Great food, always a good selection of beers and friendly staff. Cosy open fires in the winter and a chilled beer garden in the summer. You’re always guaranteed a warm welcome from Ady, Sarah and the team. With regular quizzes, band nights, beer nights and themed nights, what’s not to love? In fact, my friends and I love it so much, we use “to get Red Lioned” as a verb to mean having a great time! Not only that, the owners of the pubs have been brilliant through the pandemic and have done loads of charity work - they are a credit to the local community. If you’re in the Llangynidr area and fancy a bite or a pint at a traditional and friendly pub, I cannot recommend the Red Lion enough - a class pub and a class act all round.

We live in Devon and our many holidays to that area we have had and stayed in the pub we had nothing but fantastic friendly service and lovely food. I wish the owners a long awaited rest and good luck in their future ventures.

Popped in for a meal. Good pub grub quality and dog friendly. Playground for the children and friendly locals.
Well worth a visit.

Very nice pub food and good selection of beers. Been here 3 times over last year or so, consistently high standard and good value.

Being an OAP this pub does a pensioner's lunch special on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, very good value, but more importantly well cooked food. A traditional pub and all the better for it.
