Lovely pub. Meals are always beautiful. Staff are friendly. Only downside is the service is extremely slow.

First time visit here. And my wife and I both had a wonderful evening. We had booked the previous week, but it wasn't necessary on this Saturday evening as there were one or two empty tables scattered around. Before we ordered food we had a few drinks. A nice selection of beers, wines and spirits were available. The menu is comprehensive with plenty to choose from. Prices are reasonable. When we eventually ordered, we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive.
It was very nicely presented, hot, tasty and the portion sizes were large. Other pubs take note!
The staff were superb. Very friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble.
The pub itself is nice. The large open fire would be wonderful on colder evenings! A huge garden and decking area looks out over the countryside. Very impressive. There is also a large carpark.
Two minor points, first impressions are spoilt very slightly by letters missing off the pub name. It makes the pub look slightly uncared for and rough around the edges, which, once you enter the building you realise is far from the truth! And also the gents toilets could do with a bit of TLC. There was a huge hole in the wall that looks like somebody had been at it with a sledgehammer!
Minor stuff I know, and it certainly doesn't detract from what was a lovely evening out.
Visit Castell Y Bwch. You'll not be disappointed!

Afternoon tea was so delicious. I went with my mum and nan for a early mothers day treat. There was more than enough food and all freshly made. The staff decorated the table lovely and they were also very attentive. Amazing customer service and great atmosphere. Thank you.

Had a really lovely afternoon here. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and polite. It was very Christmassy with all the decorations and of course the beautiful views from the windows. Will definitely be coming back!

What an improvement!
We went for Sunday roast (today was their first day of serving this) and we cannot fault!
The staff were so friendly and approachable, nothing was too much to ask and such a comfortable environment to be in! Living literally 1 minute away, I think we will definitely become regulars! Such an improvement from before, loved the experience!

Sunday dinner was just perfect. Three of us had the Beef and was so tender. The new owners were there and they were so friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back when all the new developments are in place
