Like walking into grandads front room with the fire roaring and the music playing. Go enjoy a nice pint or any tipple of your choice. The staff are always very accommodating of any customer. Prices are very good aswell and I'm sure the atmosphere won't dissapoint.

Three ales: "Bevan" - returned as undrinkable, no problem but beer was left on sale. "Export" - popular and drinkable but very cloudy. "Dark" - excellent. Very pleasant staff. Real fire, very warm venue and very welcoming.

Popped into this bar on the high street in Maesteg. Place was pretty full and sadly only one bar staff on duty so waited a while to be served. Prices were ok. Music was playing but far too loud as we had to practically shout at each other across the table to have a conversation. Only had one drink but may have stayed longer but for the music.

Not bad pub, our Guinness was bit warm it came from can and not pump, very friendly atmosphere pub.

I love this place it has a very warming/welcoming atmosphere. Bar staff a very nice and it has a lovely new beer garden. Drinks are reasonably priced for a town centre pub.

One of my favourite places to visit, bar staff are very accommodating and cannot do enough for everyone that comes through their front doors.
