Quickly seated on arrival. Slight delay til our order was taken by a very cheerful, pleasant and polite young lady. Our excellent meals were quickly served. The roast beef was tender, tasty and plentiful. A large Yorkshire pud, veg and jug of gravy made up the meal with mash & roast potatoes. I found room for choc fudge cake and my partner enjoyed a cheesecake portion, both were very good. Excellent meals for the price. Loads of parking ,very child and dog friendly. Situated on a caravan park , but open to all. Well worth a visit if in the area, both lunch and dinner served. There is a bar ,TV, games, child play area etc . A function room is also on site.

Visited for their Sunday dinner on the way past, after hearing positive things. The portions were generous, with a choice of two meats. All cooked very nicely. The waitresses were cheerful and efficient especially with it being such a hot day. However we watched the bar maid vaping whilst collecting glasses outside, and we felt this wasn’t very professional. The bar staff appeared idle in comparison to the front of house who were working hard. One star deducted because of this.

Fab pub attached to camp site which welcomes customers from outside and locals. Friendly and accommodating. Food looked great! Plenty of seating inside and outside. Facilities are clean. Play area for children..

Come for Sunday lunch can’t fault it. What a difference to the pub in the village we went to last Sunday. Today the staff were cheerful helpful the Chef came and checked everything was O.K. I suggest the other pub comes to see how it is done although I think the BARN will be the place of choice. I haven’t mentioned the food yet only one thing to say Brilliant. Went round Tuesday 13/09 no Steak pie bit disappointed but the burger was great as was the service. Was told that steak pie would be on tomorrow . So we booked a table for Thursday saying we would have steak pie was disappointed going round and finding no steak pie, chicken tikka masala was good but it was not STEAK PIE
