Temple Bar Inn

My wife and I had our Valentines Dinner here last Tuesday. The tables were adorned with a posy of red roses, service was friendly and professional and our dinner was very enjoyable. Thank you Sue, Chris, Clare and staff.

Disgusting food, lamb shank was undercooked, bloody and rubbery. Vegetables were not cooked properly. Disappointing and couldn't eat it. When I told the owner about it, she said that it was meant to be like that! Yuk.The place was empty, dull, no life in it and boring. Won't be going there again!

Great food good presentation well cooked,the portions are great. The service was very good, pleasant staff, the propietors , Sue and Chris were very nice, very patient did not try to rush us for the order. Thank you Temple Bar.

My wife and I took our nephew and girlfriend for drinks and we had a lovely evening. There was a nice open fire and we ended up the only 4 left and at closing time we just left when we were ready there was no taking your money all night and then pushing you out the door. We will definately be back 🚖👍

Great food, great customer care, plenty of space, wheelchair/pushchair accessibility, alcohol served as is tea n coffee, lovely views, kids are welcome high chairs available, smoking area outside, large carpark, I love this place, price is reasonable, portions are big, xxxx

I have been using Temple Bar every week for many years now and there’s good reason for me going back. Food quality and quantity for the price is phenomenal, the drinks are cheap and the friendly locals and regulars make it an inviting place to be. The cosy back bar with wood burner and tv is a nice place to settle down after a meal whether it’s to watch sport or have a game of cards at the card table. There’s a full size pool table, quiz machine and two dart boards to keep the teenagers entertained and I’m sure the other regulars would welcome some new challenges. The staff are friendly, attentive and hard working, the owners are welcoming and are happy to mix with the customers, they don’t force you out the door and focus on chasing your money, you can run a tab for your food, go to the bar next door and keep adding drinks and pay just before you leave. If you’re reading the reviews to decide on whether to try this restaurant then all I can say is go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

Very family oriented pub with tasty and big portioned food. Very good for the money. Nice to sit down and have food then have a game of pool, darts or cards afterwards.
