Fantastic little pub, we (4 adults and 2 kids), having short break at one of the beautiful cottages just under mile away. We found this little gem on the way through. Very warm and friendly atmosphere from both the landlord (can't praise him enough) and the locals. Pool table, darts, games for the kids and lovely open fire. EXCELLENT!

The owners are lovely and it'sin a lovely setting with a fresh cozy atmosphere with beautiful rustic stone walls which the pub is built into.

The food is all fresh and homemade, the meat is from a local butcher and they hold several events such as an open mic night every month a bikers night every second week of the month on Wednesdays and on Fridays there's a get together if musicians of all talents.

Highly recommended.

First time visiting this pub since it recently came under new management.
We had a party of four for Sunday carvery and it was really impressive. Two of our party had dietary requirements and allergies which the chef and landlord were only too happy to accommodate.
She informed us what was in all the food which was good for those party members and included a freshly made nut-roast with 8 different types of mushroom in. The meat on offer was well cooked and juicy, the roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the cauliflower cheese was the perfect level of cheesiness all the food is from the surrounding farms which is always a good sign.
The pub has live music and weekly entertainment and is dog friendly too!
My wife and I will be returning next weekend for sure!!

We went here - slightly by mistake. We were looking for somewhere to take mum for her birthday and everywhere in the coast was booked.

This is a real farmers pub for locals. But the landlord and landlady are lovely and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed the food here.

They had some local musicians playing songs in Welsh etc and we had fun.

The food was good and the homemade deserts and to die for.

I would visit again - probably on a Thursday which is steak night ;)

A truly hidden gem, warm hospitality and food is excellent, if you are close by and don't try it, you may need to book a full frontal lobotomy!!
