The Cross Foxes

Beautiful location with a fantastic elevated position overlooking the River Dee. Superb outside space where we sat & had a spot of lunch.

Didn't want much so we shared a cheeseboard off the desert list & then I had the mini Chocolate Brownie & a Cappuccino & the wife had the mini Sticky Toffee Pudding with a cup of tea. Perfect for a lunchtime light bite. All catered for by lovely friendly & efficient staff.

Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly which meant we didn't have to worry about the weather and having to leave him in the car whilst we enjoyed a celebratory lunch. He was more than happy to lie under the table and let the world go by! Gorgeous food as always and our waitress was lovely, welcoming, and attentive but not too 'pushy' just a perfect balance

Called in for lunch (hadn't booked), the place was busy but we were able to get a table with a fantastic view of the river. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a couple of fruity ciders and ordered some Indian tandoori wraps and a side of fries. Everything was delicious... This is a gem of a place, will definitely revisit...

Really nice beer. Great staff. Not tried the food looks good though. Was a bit whiffy from sewage, somewhere. Good chilled time.

Absolutely stunning food every time we visit. Staff are attentive and there’s a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Lovely pre-Christmas Dinner with sisters, great service and atmosphere in the conservatory, didn't see rest of pub. Food was excellent and we all enjoyed our food and drink 🍸
Planning to go again in the new year for birthday celebrations

This is our third visit to the Cross Foxes and it gets better every time. We travel from NW Wales and we are never disappointed.

The food is perfect, the setting is lovely but most importantly, the service is outstanding. This place just gets the balance right. The staff are all friendly, attentive and seem to really enjoy their jobs too!!

Of course, we will be back. Thank you.

What a beautiful pub/restaurant. Very welcoming. We sat by the open fire, which was so lovely & really cosy. Will definitely visit again.
