Quirky interior, really delicious food in large portions. So glad I didn't attempt a starter! Friendly service.

Had a great family meal here whilst on holiday in the area. We’ll worth the trip away from the more tourist areas on the coast.

Staff were friendly and food good. Had a really nice atmosphere.

We went on a Friday and was busy, we booked ahead and we recommend to do so to, you wouldn’t want to be disappointed.

This was our 2nd visit last night. My husband had rump with mushroom sauce. I had a burger, the best I ever had. I sometimes find a burger overwhelming, but the is the best I ever had. The flavour, texture snd taste was amazing. Everything was home made. Thanks again lovely x

Beautiful traditional pub with a lovely fireplace and surroundings. Really enjoyed the food and the company. Great value for money! Worth a drive out to the countryside. The owners are so lovely and you can even stay the night now too in their Airbnb. Lovely local walks and historical attractions, eg one of the oldest trees in Europe, and a cottage museum.

A beautiful olde style pub which serves extremely well cooked and flavoured food. Service was perfect and the staff were super friendly and inviting. One to visit for anyone staying, or passing through the area

Passed the place a few times and decided to give it a go. Well, very impressed. The food was fabulous and the staff very friendly. A proper country pub. Had to wait for food after ordering but it was very busy. People coming & going all evening. A very popular place.

Such a friendly welcome from staff couldn't of done enough for us. Brought the in laws here as they was visiting us over the Christmas period we all was very impressed the food was lovely and great portions. Very cosy oldy worldy little pub. Would definitely recommend to family and friends 😊
