Absolutely smashing.

Stopped by with a team of 14 and our order was handled with finesse and charm, the staff particularly friendly and helpful.

The food was excellent and my request to have two of the orders put into doggy-bags (due to a abscence through illness) handled perfectly. Cooking instructions included for the dessert which was frozen which was a lovely touch.

Only criticism: only one proper ale on tap at the time, but at least it was a good local one.

Excellent freshly made food. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare (as asked for). Great motorhome stopover as close to New Quay too

Last minute drop-in on a Bank Holiday weekend... were more than happy to seat the 4 of us, lovely freshly cooked food, and a nice and simple down-to-earth pub.
No airs and graces, and nice to see a traditional bar with regulars sat there enjoying a pint. Very fair prices as well. Will certainly go back.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced and the locals were friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Staying just around the corner and been in a couple of times already for dinner and just for drinks, both times with the kids. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Staff and locals are very friendly and welcoming of the kids and seen plenty of dog owners welcomed too. I’m f your in the area and want some decent pub food in a friendly atmosphere look no further.

Went for a meal on Saturday 30th July 2022, table of 6. Meals took over an hour to come out. The “gourmet” steak burger was a frozen burger slapped in a bun, we failed to see where the gourmet bit was! It came with a few chips and a spoonful of peas which looked suspiciously pale! The home made lasagne was frozen and cold in the middle. When the landlady was informed she was not interested and said we would have warmed it up in the microwave! We responded it took you 20 minutes to bring mayo, tartare sauce and salt and vinegar we were worried we would never see it again! Chefs didn’t wear hairnets and cleanliness was dubious. Would not recommend.
