Red Lion

It was a clean establishment with a lovely blend of old and new styles of decor. The staff were efficient and friendly. The toilets were clean. Gorgeous food and reasonably priced, I had the scampi and rocky road Sunday 🫶. Definitely would visit again.

Absolutely amazing pub, visit regularly. The choice of ales and beers available is great. The landlady and landlord are great fun and friendly. The staff are brilliant . Great choice on the menu. Will be back. Lovely atmosphere. Great venue for parties. Huge beer garden. Dog friendly

With this being my local I call here often whether for a drink with the girls or a meal with the family. The staff a friendly and welcoming and the food is lovely and for a great price too. The new seating areas in the restaurant are beautifully decorated and a great place to gather with friends A+++

I've been to The Red Lion a few times now and I always receive a warm, friendly welcome. The bar stocks a great range of drinks and the food menu has tempted me on more than one occasion! Clare is a wonderful hostess and I enjoy our chats putting the world to rights. Keep up the great work.

First time through the doors for a long time. Staff are pleasant and welcoming and very attentive to wheelchair user in our group.
The only negative was the food portions. After eating at another pub in the same group, the amount of food served was significantly less than the other pub. Also my steak pie appeared to pre-cooked not homemade.

Wow...why have I not been here before... absolutely amazing food.. great atmosphere..staff amazing. Spent a few hours with friends and after our meal went to the bar area and enjoyed the regulars company playing pool..this is definitely my new to go place for food and a good night out...thanks to all the staff for making us feel at home on our very first visit... Will see you all again very soon xx

Went here at short notice following an unexpected venu change for our Xmas work party. The staff and atmosphere were fantastic but the best part of my experience was the food. I had their "Ultimate chicken burger" (or something like that), and can honestly say I've not had a better one anywhere. Their battered prawns are excellent, too.

Went Christmas lunch here today. We'll what can I say. Welcomed by the lovely staff. The service was first class and the food was so yummy. Thanks all. Will be recommending The Red Lion to all my friends and family.
