Excellent food and dog friendly. We went for some lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious sandwiches, chips and jacket potato! Close to the local attractions (llanymynech rocks nature reserve and the lime works kiln) so great for somewhere to eat after a walk!

Friendly staff, nice open fire in the lounge, and a spacious beer garden. We didn't try the food, but from what we saw, it looked beautiful and value for money. Well worth a try if you are passing

Absolutely superb home made food and service. We celebrated a birthday here and nothing was too much trouble. They were very accommodating and are Fantastic with kids. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and look forward to returning again soon. I could not recommend this place enough.

Fantastic food and the staff are really friendly. Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had and I've had a lot. Looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu.

Stopped for a meal. The landlord was friendly and attentive and we were well looked after. We both ordered the special of the day which was gammon. It was well cooked and came with egg, pineapple and a bowl of chips or potatoes as well as a selection of vegetables. We did no opt for a pudding but were assured by another diner of their quality. I would recommend the Dolphin for good home cooked style food.

We only stopped in for a drink after a family walk. A dog friendly pub with a nice atmosphere and and friendly staff, oh the beer was good too.
They were very accommodating and are Fantastic with kids. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and look forward to returning again soon.
