what has happened to all public services nobody seems to be able to answer a phone call within a sensible timeframe. Took 20 minutes to get through last time only to be told that it was unlikely that there would be anybody in the office. I thought they were all now working from home. Tried again another 15 minutes I will never get back and still no answer its bleeding hopless

Carmarthenshire Council are by far the best local authority in Wales.
We recently moved to the area and they provide an outstanding service and are very helpful and supportive.

Recycling, Bins an Litter. I've never seen a government website as unstructured as this one. Speaking about redundancy, consistency, layout and navigation. Retired ITer.

One star is being far too generous!! Does not even deserve that...unable to get through to the phone line to speak to a human, and when e-mailed them, council very unsupportive about individual needs, health and safety of public members. Council does not deserve a penny from my hard earned money. Very poor service...such a shame!!

I wouldn't even give it one star ! A simple 'what are the swimming times available for my grandchildren next week '. A totally useless website and no one available to speak to you when you actually find the Johnstown leisure centre. I'm fed up talking to robots ...I want old fashioned customer service .

Absolutely dreadful service from the council. Why are our councillors not holding the chief executive to account.

I have sent E_mails to C. C. C. and have not yet had the courtesy of a reply. They were from the beginning of November and were to be answered in 10 days. No replies to follow up mails either.
I can understand delay but a simple mail explaining the reason why, would be welcomed

Poor public service and communication, if you phone you're on hold for 30+ minutes. Even when you report something through the Hwb there's no communication back. I found this especially the case when it comes to refuse collection - it's appalling.
