I do numerous classes here and the instructors are all really good, the gym is relatively small but this is compensated by being quieter than all seasons, so there is less chance to have to wait to get on a specific machine. The reception staff are all really friendly & helpful. My daughter broke her arm here a year ago and they were all extremely professional, efficient and calm. As this is a smaller sports centre there is a bit more of a community feeling, reception staff, instructors and class participants all get to know your face/name so if you are going on your own it makes flying solo at lot less intimidating 😊

Good gym. Good classes. Has a few 5 aside football pitch on the outside. I don't use this gym because it's not got all the equipment I need as it's quite small but it does the job if you are looking for a regular gym. Got a big sports hall in there too which kids can do karate/gymnastics ect. Has a couple of squash courts too. Also it's right next to Asda so you can literally nip in after a workout. Staff are nice.

This review is for the Gym only, I can't speak on behalf of the whole centre.
The gym is average but a good price. It has everything you need for a good workout but people who go to the gym a lot may want to look for somewhere with some more equipment. Everything is a bit old and worn, but it all still works, so If you are just starting or are not super serious about it, then this place is good.
It can sometimes be busy at peak times which makes it difficult to get onto certain machines, but for the most part it is pretty quiet.

£7.50 for a single gym session.
This is a council gym!
How the heck are we supposed to help people get fit and healthy charging these prices? No wonder the country has a health crisis.
The gym was completely empty the entire time I was there. Shame because the equipment was ok...
Would it not be better to charge £2.50 and have a full gym than £7.50 vs be empty? Awesome to see my taxes going to such a good cause..... 🤔👎🏻👎🏻

Quiet, limited gym, good for those who seek a more private workout. Good range of classes. Very helpful and eager staff, thank you
