I visit a number of local David Lloyd Clubs and this is my favourite Such a treat to play indoor tennis when the weather is so awful outside. Great facilities and friendly staff. Less crowded than most of the other DL's and I love the cafe area. Sauna steam room and jacuzzi are the best in the area. Very low screaming unattended child count too.

The good.weather has made for some quality time spent at DL, the out door pool has proved to be popular so get there early if you want to secure a sun bed although ppl come and go so only have to wait and sure enough your on one ! Food and beer good don't know about the gym though don't get that far 🤣

Brilliant opening hours. Great facilities, lovely staff, hydrotherapy pool, outdoor pool is the main attraction for me. Lots of classes.
Tennis
Around 70 pence a day more expensive than inferior local competition, well worth it in my humble opinion.

While the equipment and personal trainers are great, other staff can be very rude.

Had to check my bank account each month, as they like helping themselves to your money for no reason at all.

Changing rooms are run down, broken locks, broken hairdryers and family changing is in a grotty toilet.

I don't mind paying for luxury, but sadly there is no reason to pay the extra with this gym.

Credit where it’s due - they seem to have fixed their buggy app which was causing us so much trouble, and made up for the times we couldn’t book classes because of it. We are regulars here and love it. Was especially motivated to give 5 stars today because Natalie by the pool was so lovely to our 10 year old & Claire’s spin classes are superb. She is an excellent instructor, motivator and leader. Worth the membership alone just for her. All the staff are lovely, it’s always clean and the restaurant is brilliant.

good facility but reception staff were rude, out of line and insensitive. adults arguing with 14 & 15 year olds (literal children) leaving them feeling intimidated and humiliated. absolutely disgusting.

i understand enforcing a policy for photographs as a safeguarding precaution but putting children into a position where they are forcing a camera into a child’s face not allowing them to leave until a photo is taken. not okay. and without any parent present too. giving a a 15 year old anxious female two minutes to use the toilet (while on her period) in a gym that she pays for before announcing over the tannoy to the whole gym for her to come to reception, panicking her, utterly unacceptable.

then arguing with a her 15 year old friend until her parent came in as she tries to explain that her mate has social anxiety which staff triggered, making her feel unsafe/extremely upset as she did not want her photo taken.

continually undermining the girl saying so what and that it would only take two seconds. they had already stated that they feel uncomfortable but the member of staff persisted (again without a parent present) regardless the fact the girl was visibly in distress.

ridiculous. needs to be sorted out.

Not my home club. I was paying through at Christmas and went for a swim and to use the spa, went between 8pm and close and it's was quiet and chilled. Didn't use any of the other facilities but was happy with everything I saw. Clean and well maintained, will go back if I'm in the area again.

To all the fun sponges, its a gym. Go get fit and vacate the premises. If you don't like the showers shower at home, if the staff are rude don't talk to that member again, if the changing rooms look old get changed in your car, if you dont like the bring your own lock system get changed in your car, if the foods is no good or expensive get a meal deal at Tescos next door. if it gets busy and you can't use your favourite equipment try something new. If your classes are hit and miss embrace the hits
Its leisure premises, not a hotel, not a 5 star restaurant. Go, get fit and move on
