Clean, tidy. Very polite and professional service. Water quality great in the pool. Sauna and spa clean well looked after. Highly recommended.

Great place and nice pool.

Really need to have smaller lanes during lane swimming. Currently they use double wide lanes, this is SO inefficient. This causes a huge amount of congestion with moderate amount of people in a “double lane”. In the same area of pool, many more people could swim if the lanes were standard width. Also the double lanes mean the gradations between swimming speed are large. A double wide fast and double wide medium can easily be turned into 4 lanes, slow, medium (x2), and fast. This is such an easy fix!!

All facilities are kept with good standard and clean throughout.
Nothing to complain but occasionally closed spa before closing times.
Overall very well run place for the asking monthly membership fee.

I’ve been a member of this gym for a few years and it has slowly gone downhill. The toilets are always in an appalling condition, hardly ever any toilet paper. You’ll be lucky to find any soap to wash your hands and hardly any of the lockers at work. The staff are always friendly and helpful but the conditions of the facilities are shocking.

This gym has loads of potential. However, if you are a paying customer and an adult that works to be able to pay your membership, be warned. Between the hours of 4pm and 8pm it is rammed with children. Ages between 11 years old and 15 years old that have been given incredibly poor direction on fitness. Finishing work and heading straight to this gym Monday to Friday is pointless. You will be guaranteed disappointment as you witness swarms of children dominating the free weights and putting themselves in very dangerous situations. I’ve been coming here for a few months now and it seems to be getting worse, especially as they are not properly monitored. I have seen children trying to pump weight that some of the hardened veterans of body building would consider “tough work”. Their friends trying to help them lift rather than spot as they struggle to push a single rep. Unfastened bars being lifted as weights pour onto the floor each side as they lose control. Benches completely occupied as they take nearly 10 minute rest periods between sets so they can snap chat their followers for some likes. Girls in mirrors posing and taking photos in groups and having a good chat. Staff mingling with these kids to satisfy their own god complex and have their egos massaged. I do not blame ambitious children wishing to keep fit, but I don’t agree with underdeveloped children from the age of 11 trying to throw weights like Arnold Schwarzenegger, completely unsupervised, with zero direction or guidance and spending more time “resting” on the equipment and taking selfies. Not only that, the time of day heavily impacts the time in which grown ups would ideally be utilising the facilities after work. You will be lucky if you get space on a crash mat.

Been coming to this facility for a couple of years, so really welcomed the December 2022 renovation.

However despite the new machines and all the overall quality of the gym has gone down! Too many people crammed in a small space, gym stretching area regularly packed, changing areas and showers in poor state.

To the managers: I can see you want the business to grow but you've got to keep the standards up too or people will move on.

I don't know about the sport facilities but the café staff are pretty terrible.

Let's start with the positive: coffee costs GBP2.7 for a small americano. It is of a reasonable standard, though.

Staff fairly incompetent. Asked for a small americano with a splash of milk. Was immediately charged for a large and then asked if I'd like milk.

Menu offers a wide array of snacks but when I requested a sausage roll was abruptly told that they can only offer me porridge. Ridiculous.

EDIT: another customer was served a bacon sandwich after I was offered porridge. But she then returned it, describing it to me as 'inedible'.

Significant improvement since the December 2022 renovation. The weights/cardio/machines area is top notch now, big upgrade over the the previous area with all new equipment.

If I have to complain about anything, the lockers/bathrooms could be much improved. Also the WiFi signal in the facility is very poor.
