It is a real shame that the customer service just doesn’t measure up to the aesthetics and facilities. For the gym itself I would give 5/5. However, when I joined the club must have been pushing sales. Vouchers were promised as part of the joining fee, yet I was unable to book for the session due to app updates/ flaws and no availability. I understand why you would need to have an expiry on redemption, but if your system is faulty and my vouchers expire in that time, surely an exception can be made. I joined in April and I am still awaiting response from management after reaching out multiple times in various ways. Certainly cannot be referred to as a premium service.

I use to be a David Lloyd member for a while but left quite abruptly because I wanted to discuss my membership payments when transferring clubs as that’s what you have to do which is extremely frustrating as nobody gets back to you for weeks so eventually cancelled my membership which also turned out to be so much hassle with them.

Everything is a discussion with a lack of communication from them and nothing is fixed. Also the gym gets beyond busy at times but the spa is nice but I don't think it’s worth 3K per annum

Club is lovely and great facilities.
What let's this club down is the staff. The staff have no customer service skills if someone requires help they ate not interested in helping.
Miss sell memberships to get food fall in and once your in they are not interested in your concerns.

Joined the club for great swimming facilities and classes + family friendly. Apart from pre-natal and post-natal. There is no offering at all. We’ll 1 class twice a week accommodating 6 people. Given the number of buggies there at all times, this seems like a huge miss. Having to buy additional class passes elsewhere which quickly makes it bad value. Why not use a tennis court for some buff fit work outs? What about some instructor led sessions on the gym floor? Pregnancy yoga? Etc? Come on DL. You can do better on this.

I had a tour around David Lloyd Raynes park, have to say it looks like one of the best gyms I have ever seen. Really impressed with all their facilities. I was shown around by Georgie who was very hopefully with showing me around and discussing my membership options. I would really recommend this place.

Been a member here for a year. Pricey but the best gym I've ever used. Having the space to jump on the laptop to do the day job is useful and the recently refurbished bar area is great.
