Dulwich Leisure Centre

I visited the centre today looking to do a trial session in the gym before purchasing a subscription. I was received with great hospitality and was given a tour after which I was very happy and ready to purchase the 1st month subscription but foolishly left my bank card at home so they were not able to set up my direct debit. They allowed me to use the gym anyway and said they could set it up later over the phone. They were very helpful, the centre was very clean and there was a really lovely atmosphere. I haven’t tried their classes yet but from what I’ve read they do a pretty good job at that as well. See you soon!

Decent gym with good variety of free weights and machines. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are however a few machines which are out of order and don't seem to be getting fixed anytime soon. General maintenance of the gym could be a lot better.

Not sure why, but I was denied a subscription because I didn't have an English bank account (here on vacation). And having to pay £10 everytime I come in seems a bit much. Nice gym but if you're a traveler I guess they don't want you here.

Wouldve been a 5* as have really enjoyed til now…but really noticed a lack of maintenance for the equipment over last couple of months. Both leg press machines have not been fixed, as well as one of the few cable machines in the gym

Excellent + despite the coldness outside gym venue ventilated & not feeling cold.
Everything 1 would need 2 train with is available.

Have been there twice and at check-in (single entry) we had to wait quite long to show the booking. There were 4 staff members (3 standing around and chatting and one on the phone with a lollipop in her mouth). Very unfriendly.. The 5th staff then came to check us in..
At the times we visited the gym, it was usually very crowded and most of the machines/benches were occupied. So a lot of waiting times. Weights are not returned, no towels used, rather old equipment. Would not recommend this gym

Centre and staff are okay but receptionists are 0. Know nothing, rude, barely answer the phone. In Camberwell they are so much nicer and available.

After our second 'lockdown' in April' 21 the gyms have reopened and Britain seems to have rediscovered the art of queuing (see photo).

Usual excellent customer service from the staff: the app and website, however, seem to have busted but I guess you can't have everything eh!?!
At the moment it looks like we will need to phone the Dulwich Leisure Centre to book gym sessions.
