The swimming pool is fantastic, but the facilities are run by people who look like on their first day of the job. If you go up to them with any problems, they just stare at you completely lost and tell you that everything is out of their control. Swim sessions are often cancelled last minute, and sometimes you don't find it out until you are in your swimming costume ready to jump in. Floor in the swimming pool is filthy, changing cabin locks are broken. It can be related to the energy crisis, but recently there is no warm water for showering. It's OK in the summer, but I will have to cancel my membership in the winter if it goes in like this. If you cannot afford warm water, please raise the prices or install a payment system like a prepayment card at the showers.

Small male and female changing rooms. 4 group changing rooms and only 2 family cubicles. Group showed = only 3. (1of which is broken) Location is good and bus stops right out side. If not a member getting booking can be challenging as they have very limited spaces for swimming due to a limited amount of life guards they have. Venue is clean.

Needs a bit of maintenance like more hairdryers and improved showers but overall completely adequate. Good pool temperature, warm changing rooms. Not at all dirty and crowded on a weekday afternoon, however a completely different picture in the evening. Eight people in one fast lane with absolutely no management when some should clearly be in other lanes.

Years ago the staff was nice and competent- during the last few years I don't know what happened -the level of incompetence and lower customer service reached the sky. I am still attending these facilities ONLY because it is the only swimming pool walking distance from where I live, if I had had another choice I would have stopped using their facilities long time ago. Save money and time if you can

We've had ups and downs with Acton Centre, with our kids attending weekly swimming lessons. In the six months after COVID lockdowns it was really unreliable with lessons cancelled with no notice, but they have massively improved since then. The instructors are really good, friendly, patient, and communicative with the children and importantly, pro-active in moving children up through the stages when they're ready, so I feel like my kids are making good progress.
The pool is generally clean and the receptionists are really helpful and friendly (where previously they seemed a bit aloof)
I definitely recommend the place for children's swimming lessons.

Very affordable but very poorly managed. I appreciate swimming is very underrated in London, however (and that applies to private clubs as well) some things are just not acceptable. You could puke just after crossing the gates. Everybody wear their shoes in the changing rooms which leave the floor muddy, HAIR, DIRT you name it it's on the floor mixed with water from the pool. I've seen children bare foot walking around then jumping to the pool... Why!? Don't even get me started on the pool... Mold everywhere I don't wanna know what's on the bottom of the pool but it floats and swims together with you, even more mold, children EVERYWHERE. WHY WOULD PEOPLE AGREE TO SUCH STANDARDS? No idea. The only reason I go there is bcs I can't do any other sports and my poor a** is broke but seriously taking advantage of all people who just want to teach their children swimming and don't have a fortune on private swimming pools (which also happen to be gross, if anyone has recommendation please share). I don't know what's on the surfaces but imagine all dirt from outside plus people's crusty feet and don't even know what else from their private parts soaking off in the water 👍... Jesus fix it please 🤢🤮

The gym is quite small. 5 treadmills, 5 cycles. They are all compact and not much space to walk around. The membership (£25) includes both gym and swimming pool. I guess the selling point is the swimming pool, not the gym.

The swimming pool could have good potential but otherwise it is exasperating to receive such poor treatment to the customers after paying a lot for four classes of 30 minutes a month. Everything is incredibly dirty and stinky. The staff in reception is rude and unfriendly, they need to find educated and kind people for that job. The lifeguards are not doing their job. Unfortunately worst pool I have ever seen, needs a manager change asap
