I will add that this approach of holding customers hostage isn't acceptable and should be looked into. don't join this horrendous health club.
When you charged members £200, you better provide excellent customer service but that is not the case here.
Firstly calls at reception are never answered (after 6 tries at different times).
Secondly, after changing my class time as there was availability for an earlier class, I’ve been blocked in booking future classes!
I sent my concern via the app but they said everything looks okay but I still can’t book classes! Since no one is answering calls I don’t know where else to get help!
Considering I pay over £400 a month between my membership and PT, I’d expect top and quality service, which I’m not getting!
Special mention to Brad James on the membership team who has been brilliant in helping me and my family with all queries absolutely brilliant guy. Anyone trying to join the nearly refurbished gym ask for Brad James
2. The new spa is good, but we're now over subscribed. I still see members of staff trying to recruit new members whilst the place has run out of towels and there is barely a table free in the dining/lounge area. Or you have to wait for ages for a piece of equipment to become available.
3. I pay for a membership where one of the benefits to this is complimentary towels, but the staff give them out to EVERYONE and on a number of occasions I've turned up and there are no towels left and have had to turn back. They don't order more towels for next time, or stop giving them out to everyone.
4. The lounge area is often a mess, sometimes it's clean. It's not unusual to see crisps all over the floor, or empty glasses and plates on tables.
5. Mold in the showers.
