Visited this gym as a guest of my partner, we took our daughters for a swim. Our usual gym is the Brierley Hill venue and we have often complained about the run-down nature and facilities being out of order or damaged.

Our first visit was a very pleasant experience, gym standards are exactly what you'd expect from a private membership.
Clean, well kept with friendly staff.

A world of improvement compared to our usual gym.

Brilliant gym, joined this year and it has everything you could want from a gym. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, loads of great classes, huge gym with all the cardio machines and weights you could want. Lovely staff and the other members are friendly and look out for each other too. Lovely cafe and has everything for kids if you have them - kids club, kids food, soft play area. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Other people have mentioned PureGym, I used to be a member there - doesn’t have a patch on this gym. Negative reviews for this gym must be from other gym owners surely, or from people who can’t afford this luxury gym.

If you aren’t 100% sure of getting a year membership, please avoid at all cost.

They are very good at getting you in and take your bank details but ghost you when you want to get out. I changed my mind and cancelled my membership within the allowed 2 weeks trial period, they never refunded me of the 2 unused weeks, took my card and they charged me another month!

I called 12 times, emailed 8 times, left countless messages on the app, even went down there in person having everyone promising that it will get sorted asap. I am yet to receive a call from them / the membership team to sort this issue.

We will simply have to cancel our direct debit including my partner’s membership now, and just spread the word to our friends about how rubbish the membership management/ assistance is.

Recently had some issues with membership was emailing back and forward but getting no results, visited Bromsgrove Leisure centre and got directed to sales manager Mahdi he couldn’t of been more helpful, went the extra mile to sort my problem out top tier customer service.

I have given this David Lloyd a Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating because the lady’s that run the crèche at this club are amazing! Rachel and Louise are professional, friendly, warm and take a personal interest in the children they look after! I have had three children who have all used the crèche at different ages and all three of them have loved it!! Can’t recommend it enough for mums with little ones! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Poorly maintained and constant battles over direct debits taken for months after activities have been cancelled. I cancelled swimming club for my kids in writing in August. They continued to take DD's in September and October and then sent instructions that this activity was rebooked from October going forward. Incompetent doesn't cover it. Still waiting for refunds.
