When I first started with Spartan, 6 months before the first Lockdown, I was 19 Stone. Within those 6 months I lost 2 stone all down to Spartan. They really gave me the motivation to lose that weight and my strength went right up too. You’re training with a great bunch of lads who are there to help each other which really motivates you. Spartan is a very professional outfit but with great banter to go with it. 5 stars from me 👍💪

While I’ve had to take a break from Spartan due to work commitments, it was / has been a great experience and unlike anything else I’ve experienced in the ‘gym’ world.
The owner Ben is hands on and his enthusiasm is infectious (even if his eclectic taste in music may be questionable 🤣) , the coaches offer the perfect balance of motivation and humour and the camaraderie amongst the ‘brotherhood’ makes you actually want to go and keeps you accountable (even on those days where you’d have skipped a ‘normal’ gym).
It’s hard to describe exactly what Spartan is (collective personal training / group workout sessions / healthy lifestyle club) but whatever it is, it’s brilliant!
I loved the Just Turn Up (JTU) ethos as, as long as you can drag yourself to the coliseum, the coaches will make sure it’s worth your while!
It’s unique and awesome, so if you’re looking to get in shape (both body and mind), I’d argue that there’s no place better.

Professional training and all levels of fitness supported. Great group and team. No ego's and great community support. I've been motivated, pushed hard and two months in seeing obvious results in weight loss and conditioning. I use to gym regularly but the results I've had though Spartan have surpassed anything I've done on my own in the gym.

I signed up for the 28day challenge and cannot recommend Project Spartan enough. My induction was very in-depth and James listened to my body/fitness concerns and goals and then produced a plan to achieve them. Both the members and trainers are all very friendly, the training sessions are hard but fun and everyone works at their own pace - there is no embarrassment or comparing yourselves to others as everyone on their own journey.
I am now 3 weeks in and seeing results which motivates me to push harder. If your thinking to join then please please do, you won’t be disappointed!

I’m usually very nervous when joining gyms and find myself going once or twice and never again. However, then I found Project Spartan and all that changed. The concept is completely different to any other, the guidance and instruction from the coaches is second-to-none and all the members I work out with are so welcoming and encouraging.
I felt very comfortable that men and women sessions are separate and all the female members are of all abilities, shapes and sizes. If you’re thinking of joining a gym then you won’t be disappointed with joining the Collisium.

The best gym and fitness experience bar none. I've always hated public gyms but always wanted to get properly fit. Spartan is the only fitness programme I've ever stuck with - 2 and a half years and counting now. 2+ stone lighter and kept it off and fitter than I've ever been at nearly 40! A great bunch of lads to train with, no egos, really welcoming and accommodating of everyone. Different exercise programme each week created by the coaches who are there to help you out with form and motivation. Can't recommend the programme highly enough.

I joined Project Spartan over 4 years ago now and it is the best decision I’ve ever made. As well as becoming a fitter, healthier and happier version of myself, I’ve met some fantastic people and made some friends for life. The support and encouragement you get from each and every other member of this brotherhood is second to none. The coaching is always top class and they really know there stuff from technique, nutrition and well being. We have had many social events too including curry nights, golf days, Spartan races, a trip up Mount Snowden in Wales and more...If you are considering joining Project Spartan I would wholeheartedly recommend you fill in that application without delay. It’ll be one of the best decisions you will make.

I hadn't had much success with gyms. My enthusiasm always withered after a month or so. An extensive collection of branded towels and other sign-up 'freebies' bear testimony to this. Then I saw the Facebook advert for Project Spartan. It looked really interesting. Over the next six months I kept going back to their page, trying to puck up the courage to join up. Finally I did. The best decision. Project Spartan isn't a gym. It's a community. A community of like minded people who want to get fit, look better and live longer. It's not a place for gym bunnies. I've been attending 3 times a week for almost 2 years. Which still astonishes me. During lockdown, Project Spartan went online, of which I did 4 sessions a week - they helped me keep physically and mentally healthy. I'm fitter, a little bit trimmer, and I can't foresee a time when I'm not part of the Project Spartan community.
