Fitness First London Bishopsgate

I recently joined FF Bishopsgate and so far have been very happy with the service . The staff on the front desk are very sweet and offer a warm welcome , they were very helpful when I joined and the process was very smooth.

This is a refreshing change as I was previously at a gym where the staff weren’t very friendly so it’s nice to be a member if a more friendly gym 😊

The gym itself is very clean and has good facilities my only qualm is that it would be nice to have 2 towels Instead of the one included.

Well kitted gym with a 16m pool. Roomy changing rooms. Plenty of kit. Friendly staff.

Tend to go outside of peak hours, so can't comment on how busy it gets.

Still quite new to this gym however it has faultless so far. Every member of staff has been super accommodating especially for someone with next to no gym experience whatsoever. Great facilities and a wide range of equipment. I am happy I chose this gym.

Lovely gym, everyone is very helpful. Equipment and changing rooms are always spotless. There's a pool and steam room, and plenty of studio space when you want to do your own thing.

Used to be a regular here until covid - for the membership price, it's a really good deal - allowing you to also use all other FF gyms at the same tier or lower. The gym itself had a swimming pool, couple of squat racks, good variety of machines and classes. Not sure if they still do the bring a friend on Fridays but this was an excellent offer which I used many times and made a Friday workout instead of drinks much more tempting.

I’ve been an on-off member of fitness first for over 16 years now, and I have to say from all the other branches, this has to be my favourite one! It does have an advantage over most of the other beaches, because not many branches have a pool in it. The pool ain’t the best pool I’ve seen in fitness first branches… but it does the job!

Came here to do my end-of-year workout, was told by the staff to take a photo of the opening hours. 29th December came and managed to do 30-40mins session before hearing announcement that the gym will be closed at 20:00. Thought i got mistaken with the time, but i left anyway. Asked the staff and was told that "my GM told me if it's quiet or there is no customers then we can close early". For the record, there was 2 customers still working out and I was not informed this in advance. The staff was also kind enough to offer "Can you try to come early tomorrow?". But sure maybe if I can try to leave work early like you guys! Next day, tried by best to come 15mins earlier and got even less of a workout before the gym decided to closed even earlier - at 19:45. That's 1 hour 15 mins earlier than the advertised time, yet again was not informed in advance. I don't think we are paying a small amount of money to workout here, I'm not asking for more, I just want to get what I paid for and what obviously shown on the picture here. If you decide to close at whatever time you like, maybe don't need to put the sign at all. And if you consider there is no customer in the gym - i guess 1 or 2 customers left are not important enough for you to provide the service as promised, honestly makes me feel disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. I don't bother with the staff if it's the GM decision, but an apologies will not be enough to rectify this.

Top tier gym but at busy times it's very busy and feels cramped especially after the closure of the gracechurch gym.

That said, great equipment, friendly staff and wide choice of equipment. There is a swimming pool also which is a bonus for London.
