David Lloyd Woking

I visited David Lloyd for a swim and lunch with some friends. The pool was fine but the sauna wasn't that hot. The food also wasn't great. We were served at quite different times and it tasted very average considering it wasn't cheap.

Signed up to a 3 month contract which unbeknownst to me continued to roll after the 3 months were up. DL have been quietly taking money from me, without me using any services after the 3 month contract had expired. Would not recommend or ever use again. Very Poor

My daughter and I recently visited the Woking Club to play tennis. The reception team, especially Ellie, were fabulous in welcoming us and ensuring we felt orientated. On top of that, great indoor tennis court facilities ensured the trip was thoroughly enjoyable all round.

The cleanliness of this club is an absolute insult to any paying member. This evening I had the delight of showering in cubicles with :

*Folded sanitary pads
* Bodily hair on walls
* Various liquids sprayed around

When you walk in, just be careful and try not to slip on a constant grimy mess around the pool and the shower area.

Worst of it is not that it has happened, but that is now the ongoing state of cleanliness. After many complaints, nothing gets done.

Safe to say, seek other cleaner clubs if you think of joining.

We enjoyed the gym at first and all the staff are lovely. However, we have a 2.5 year old daughter and other than the tiny soft play area there is NOTHING that DL does for kids this age. They block your child from attending any of the activities or age 3-5 children parties. I have a very able 2.5 year old who is already bored of the soft play, hence the reason we we are leaving the gym, and may consider joining in the future. A shame really...

I understand the prices have to go up to reflect the cost of living, but the management and facilities should remain at a high standard.
Unfortunately, it takes around 4 weeks for something to be fixed. The toilets don't work (overflowing stopped by the club towels for weeks), changing rooms have been blocked off due to leaks, bikes in the spin class rarely work....
It took management 3 weeks to call me back, to have Sue respond to my concerns in an extremely patronising and rude manner. She also tried to pass off her inability to carry out her job onto her reception team (who are always very attentive and nice), shouting down the phone at me that she'll need to give them more training.
Sue didn't listen to a word I was saying, thought it was a good idea to laugh at my concerns and shout over anything I said.
What could have been an easy informative call has ended up in me looking at memberships elsewhere.

i was in the jacuzzi with my brother when a man tried to attack him for no reason, David Lloyd have been extremely belittling to him about it and I’m not too sure if I feel safe there anymore as a 15 year old.
If you want to make sure you and your family feel safe, don’t come here. To add, the food is dreadful. always running out out of supplies. Waitors practically throw your cutlery on the table. classes are always late too. Truly awful.

Do not join this gym or any David Lloyd gym.

I have been a member for 5 years but the service is terrible and the cost extortionate.

It was pricey before but now has gone up nearly 20%. With an off-peak Membership you can only get in between 2-4pm at weekends, when there are very few classes.

The staff are very young and pleasant, but disorganised and don't know anything; machines especially the powerplate doesn't work for months and noone knows what to do about it.

There are other good gyms that are cheaper.
