I have been a member since last yeah, I have referred THREE friends to become new members, they told me I will receive 3 months for free in exchange for that. That NEVER applied, I have been emailing with no response and visiting them only to be told that someone will contact me.. They are offering £1 charge for first month for new members but cannot treat their current ones with fairness. Apparently they have spend 1 million for the gym renovation but can’t keep their promises? In my opinion the gym isn’t that good now, they got rid off two hot tubs. The changing room is so much worse than before, definitely less privacy and space. Very disappointed.

I have spoken to the Manager and other staff members regarding the hygiene of this gym on so many occasions and not a single thing changes. I am constantly told that they are short of staff, this is no excuse, hygiene should be top priority. But nobody cares, hence why you never see a response to the reviews.

The showers are disgusting with clumps of hair and used plasters left behind. This was the case before they refurbished the whole shower area black, in hope that you wouldn't see the grime which is still a problem now.

The poolside is always dirty with used plasters and chewing gum, the poolside mirrors have never been cleaned so don't expect to see a clear reflection of yourself in them. Staff, visitors and maintenance men walk around the pool area with outdoor shoes and no shoe covers. You can only imagine what grime and residue is left behind. I've seen odd bits floating in the pool, please don't ask what it is because I couldn't tell you. I refuse to use the pool now.

As for the steam room, it never seems to work and is often closed. Probably a blessing to be honest as it is filthy and a breading space for bacteria due to never being cleaned.

I believed that the refurbishment would bring positive changes to the hygiene of the gym, unfortunately not, so I will be looking for a new gym.

Skeleton staff presence, gym area amazing despite several pieces of equipment being broken and or old whenever I use. Shower cubicles terrible as have soap holders that are empty with no lids or just nothing there . No shelves in cubicle to put toiletries so can only put on floor. Jacuzzis have gone and steam room usually broken and continues to appear grotty and dirty despite new ceiling that was very mouldy. There is a hole in the wall still and in my opinion ceiling will most likely become just as mouldy as the last if they ever manage to fix it! Even when working not that good an experience. Gym area 4star but if don't use gym and only want to use swim area the refurb has downgraded this area for these customers who are still having to pay full price for a poorer experience. Also appears to be less class choices. Everlast Nottingham in my opinion appears to fail to cater for customers who prefer the pool and classes that many women may prefer. I have concerns the whole refurb could appear male dominated in my opinion even the decor of austere black and grey with no thought for comfort or practicality. Very basic minimalist changing area. Disappointed and will consider alternative gym membership in the future.

This is my local gym. Must say, very happy with everything. Staff are friendly and active. Pools always clean. Equipment is very high class.
Just a great place to unwind and exercise.

I was offered £5 for first month during the refurb. It wasn't possible to take it up online. When the gym opened the staff were unable to help. I ended up being charged full price.
I was excited to see how they had done with the refurb they had a great steam room pool and jacuzzis. The only thing missing was a sauna.
What a disappointment, no sauna the jacuzzis had gone! At least they still had the steam room. Oh but it's never working now.
This gym is now a £20/mth gym but they are still charging £32/mth. I will need to look further afield to find a new gym now shame.

As much as the gym has had a make over and new equipment, it feels like there is less is places.

Can't fault staff very friendly and helpful when needed.

Sauna has been broken since two weeks after reopen. Rarely soap in the ladies loos, where 2/3 are broken anyway. Only one of each weight machine, so it's a queue. VERY BUSY and often there is simply no kit to use. Machines often broken

The new refurb is great, equipment is good quality and there’s a lot of it. Obviously as it is a commercial gym it gets busy at peak times but during the day or mornings it is quieter. Staff are friendly and club is clean.
