Anytime Fitness (Christchurch)

It just take one bad apple..... I had the most rude and ill mannered experience from a key member of staff at this gym. I could go into much detail about how rude and condescending they were. You just have to trust it is not a place would ever go back to or recommend no matter what. What I will say is my experience told me a lot about the attitude and public view this person has. It clear there is a big staff training requirement at this gym in regard to people skills. I have a wide knowledge and experience of fitness gyms and this has to be the worst I have ever come across. A very unprofessional and unhelpful "I don't care attitude" not recommended!

Writing a review for a friend as she wants to remain anonymous, she is still stuck in her membership for 7 months and doesn’t want the animosity when she’s at the gym. The gym has declined in the last few months; the place is filthy, machines never cleaned, management is appalling… they had no toilet paper for over a week, health safety? The new manager is rude and dismissive and not interested in hearing from her paying members. Classes cancelled last minute no reason. Some PTs are rude and bullying. Please don’t get stuck in a membership like she did.

Hopefully this will get heard by those that will be able to help as it pointless speaking to staff at the gym, many members feel the same my friend but feel helpless.

Since the new management the club has massively declined. The new manager is incredibly dismissive and oozes laziness. Classes are continuously cancelled and never once has the manager stepped in to cover.
Not only that but the over all cleanliness of the gym has declined massively.

I get the feeling the new manager loves the title, but dislikes the actual work ahahaha

Received a parking fine for parking in AF's members' bays whilst using the gym. I have e-mailed, but no one has responded. I have tried calling numerous times and no one picks up. Very bad experience all round

24 hour gym great to fit around your schedule, a good selection of equipment with good private showers (no awkward changing room conversations). Very knowledgeable personal trainers, with a passion for health and fitness, special shout out for Slav as his dedication to helping people achieve their goals goes above and beyond.

I’ve been a member for over 3 years. The gym is excellent. I also have a PT at the gym Slav Hardhorse Konik and he’s an amazing trainer. He’s helped and is helping me get to my goals. Everyone should give him a go. Love the gym and will be a member forever 💪❤️💪

The atmosphere is good as well as the staff.
Space and machines are enough.
Plenty of bathrooms and they have hair dryers and strainers!!!
Just miss my zumba

Good gym, good equipment, very clean. I use a PT those called Slav who is very professional and I’m getting great results.
