Really good range of facilities (classes, swimming, sauna, steam room etc). Helpful staff. The place is also much more newer than the aspley branch.

Only 4 stars as the outdoor hot tub had lots of hairs in it and needed a good clean. Also, some classes allow more people in than the booking capacity and the sauna timer has gone missing 🤷‍♀️

Very good facilities. Outdoor swimming pool was 30 degrees as it was mid September, which was lovely and warm for water aerobics class. Changing room, including private cubicles, showers with good quality shower gel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Cafe and drinks area. A very relaxing experience. There is an indoor swimming pool as well, which was being refurbished, but reopening soon (check). Gym etc. Plenty of car parking. Recommended.

Tennis court always dirty and bins never emptied. Zero management of courts. Informed the GM about one member who is coaching a player at the club (non family)during the day for cash and GM took no action. The member still blatantly uses the club for his new coaching business and is not a registered LTAcoach or sole trader, and is charging cash for services off a junior tennis player. 🤫🤫. Due to no email reply from the GM I forwarded my emailed to DL head office. So anyone paying for platinum services be aware there are rules for some and none for others.

Been a member here for 20 years. Fabia and Theresa are always so friendly on arrival. The facilities are very good and being updated again. Todd the tennis coach is friendly and has a great team helping him, sadly it has not improved my game! Looking forward to the upgrade which is being well managed if a little disruptive.
Keep up the good work.

Used to be a great club, and the range of facilities is good and the staff are fantastic. However, failing equipment and technical issues are spoiling the experience. I have always justified the high cost of membership to access good classes and well maintained equipment. The club runs a series of data driven, 'state of the art' classes that rely on the studio equipment and software both working. However maintenance has started to be an issue with regular technical issues and the same items of equipment failing regularly week after week. Also the club has introduced a very 'clunky' APP that often fails at busy times and has made it difficult to book classes. Club still good but failing equipment and technology are an issue.

Apart from all the problems we have at WB , caused by refurbishments in gym/pool areas…the ladies sauna is now not working! The tap in the ladies disabled toilet has been running continuously for approximately 3 months…members have reported this problem several times…we are informed it has been logged in the book…but it’s still running! The ladies changing rooms are are still cold..this has also been reported! They are also not very clean..there is frequently hair in the showers, toilets are not flushed..and it is actually really difficult to do so for adults, impossible for children!
Members I speak to are very disappointed with the club as a whole..many considering freezing their membership or leaving..and some have!..14 days for £14 means that classes are booked up when regular members try to access them..only made worse by the closure of the large studio for gym improvements…And so on!!!
Finally, we long term members know from experience that nothing that we write here is acted on..it seems as always that new memberships are priority, but little is done to keep loyal members happy…particularly at the moment when most facilities are disrupted! Shame!

You take out a 14 day pass for a club that misleads you into their services. I joined, like many others to take advantage of the services to find that they are under refurbishment so the gym has moved to the tennis courts, the steam room and jacuzzi are not available. To top it off when i went in the first time to collect my card they could not find me on the system, i had to leave as i was late for an appointment. The second time i went in was Friday 18th November. The receptionist realised I had signed up for the other DL in Aspley. This was a legitimate mistake as I live a 5 min walk away in West Bridgford. My daughter had also joined too and we were looking forward to some quality time together. I spoke to ROB who was very condescending and appeared to be gloating at the fact he was turning us away. Very disappointed in the customer services and lack of compassion!!

In addition to the lack of facilities etc described in previous reviews I had to endure being shouted at by the person running the class on court 9 today. During social tennis I politely asked for the excessive volume on the music in her class to be turned down and got abuse from her and her supervisor. The place is a disgrace. No availability in classes, no spa, reduced access to courts and abusive staff. There is no point in being a member.
(Management have contacted me since this review was written and facilities have improved- but still no spa …..)
