Snap Fitness Heswall

They charge more than other budget gym's (which is all it offers) just because its in Heswall. There are limited changing facilities, which are quite dirty with rubbish showers and 1 toilet for the whole gym. It's not worth the money, go join PURE Gym instead, better value!

I like the gym and it's convenient with decent facilities, but lately the hygiene standards have dropped significantly. The floor is always covered in dirt and it's the same pieces of dirt 3 days in a row! The toilets and facilities aren't cleaned regularly and just general hygiene is severely lacking. They really need to sort it out.

I’ve been a member of Snap Heswall for over a year now and I love it. The staff are friendly and really supportive. Being 24hrs it’s perfect for me as I work shifts and there isn’t usually a problem getting onto equipment. It’s a good atmosphere with everyone just getting their heads down and concentrating on training. Would recommend to anyone looking for a local gym, with a good range of equipment that can be accessed at anytime day or night.

Kit good, but watch out for some of the carabiner snap hooks that have been changed recently as they are undersized. Not sure if they're strong enough. Showers on the other hand avoid. 🤢 2 days later still not cleaned off message in dirt

I was inducted to the gym last year and was promised a promotional 2 months discounted price which I never received. Then after that I received a parking fine for using the gym car park and was locked out of the gym for not signing a waver which was being sent to my junk mail. Nice enough gym and 24 hours but I’d recommend finding an independent gym with a nice vibe, instead of visiting this soulless, corporate vacuum….Just an update from yesterday’s review. I signed the waver which was the reason I was being denied access to my own gym (which I pay a premium for compared to other gyms in the area). But still locked out! This place is a joke! After speaking to a kind patron who let me in. It seems it’s not just me who is being treated poorly by this company, he received £170 in parking fines!

good gym equipment. BUT lately hygiene has dropped massively. bin was over flowing there’s film or mold in showers STILL and even dust in fans on machines…… something needs to be done especially with price being very high compared to other gyms on wirral

I've been a member since day one and have really enjoyed my time at this gym so far. The location is perfect for me, within walking distance and the fact it's 24/7 means there's no excuses not to go!

Great range of equipment and free weights, the gym is deceptively large!

Very clean and all members seem to adhere to the rules around wiping down equipment after use. Would highly recommend.
