Channel View Leisure Centre - CF11 Fitness

Well equipped leisure centre with a outdoor 3G 5 a side pitch which can be used as a small 6 a side pitch, albeit a bit cramped. Staff are helpful and friendly and the gym looks to be good quality. Changing rooms and toilets are clean and there is parking onsite. This can often be quite cramped but plenty of on street parking is in the vicinity. Close to a public park and the larger 'Marl' 3G pitch.

The reason for visiting this place was to purchase a slip way permit to launch our boat .
Upon walking in to the Channel View Leisure centre at 7:15am we were greeted with a very warm welcome from reception who pointed out toilets that were spotless and refreshments after our 2 hour journey .
People who were entering the premesis at the the time either staff or facility users were all very polite and friendly .
The actual centre has an awsome view over the huge Cardiff Bay .
I can imagine it is a spectacular site through the summer with the boat traffic .
We had a few hours on the water trying our boat and using the famous barrage locks to enter the Bristol channel .
All in all its a place I can highly recommend for picturesque views and lovely local people .

The place has a gym and its own indoor and outdoor football pitch, so even if it’s a rainy day you can still have a fun match with your friends 😉

Outdoor pitch is approximately 36 quid an hour 👌🏼

What a poor effort. No information on opening times. Closed on a Monday so I couldn't use the slipway when I have a key. Turns out the locks were changed. No email, no call, no message, no sign. There were many more disappointed people waiting at the slipway.

Visited for 5 aside on the outdoor court. The pitch is decent but not having netting seems ridiculous in this day and age

Good little centre, would be worth 6 stars with a pool and a few more toilets wouldn't go amiss. The gym is well equipped but can get busy at certain times.

Really well equipped gym(s).
Stand alone female option if required. Excellent , plentiful selection of Techno cardio and resistance equipment. Incredibly pleasant and helpful staff.
