Decent equipment since the much-needed upgrade, but more often than not weights are left on machines or strewn dangerously around the gym with the culprits receiving no sanction whatsoever from staff who are nearby. Incredibly frustrating.

Music is far too loud and intrusive. I've had to invest in expensive noise-cancelling headphones which still don't quite drown it all out.

The toilets and sink area are frequently dirty. This is turn leaves a foul suspicion about the cleanliness of the equipment. I've never used the pool or steam room for these reasons.

Completely random opening hours around bank holidays, which has led to several wasted trips.

On the plus side, the off-peak membership is generous in terms of access and the gym is spacious with plenty of free parking.

Finally, I keep being emailed about membership offers, which is more than a little annoying given as I'm already a member so unable to take advantage. Some basic marketing skills wouldn't go amiss.

I'm exploring alternatives and I suggest you do too.

Been a member for 6 months and have enjoyed all facilities on offer, the showers are always hot and working as well as the jacuzzi and sauna . I find it a lovely place to workout or relax.

Ok gym space smaller than expected average pool much smaller than expected but a nice steam room (not cleaned often or ever, tiles left filthy and sewer smell is there now and again) free weight space and equipment is often taken up and not enough equipment or machines for how much you are paying it is a huge dissapointment.
Overall atmosphere is alright but feels more like a hotel gym and pool which doesn't have space for more than 4 people at once if you are doing laps.
Overall for the price it is over priced and you would see more for your buck elsewhere. £35 per month also beware of sneaky joining fee and forced minimum contract of 12 months if smaller period is selected the price goes up!
Would say nice staff but who goes to the gym for the staff? P.s . You never get the free PT sessions offered on website it is just an intro to trainer who will milk you dry.
Investors must make a mint for minimum investment...

The facilities are of a good standard , some of the equipment could however do with a service ie concept rowers as rollers underseat need replacing on 50% of them, would love to see a zero runner and a ski erg added to the equipment on offer.
Staff are polite and respectful , some of the customer base enjoy looking at themselves maybe a little too much but I guess that life. On the whole good value if you intend to use the site on a regular basis. If however you are a once per week trainer there are many other cheaper gyms out there.

Joined here a while back and have now finally got all my friends to join. Love the classes, especially the gym floor ones, makes me feel more confident using the equipment when im on my own. Staff are super friendly and with the pool and jacuzzis and stuff its good to relax on a hangover sunday :)

Went to this club as a one off visiting friends in Wales. I have used other DW gyms across the country and this one was just great. Great atmosphere, happy smiley staff especially Molly who was happy to show me around so I could find everything. Will definitely go again when I’m back in Cardiff!

Was lied to re. my contract!! Be careful!!! I joined a monthly membership, asked was it pay monthly and could I cancel and was told yes, that's no problem only to receive terms and conditions info online stating it was a 12 month contract. Reported to manager Molly, awaiting response. Really shocked at that kind of 'trapping' behaviour. Thankfully terms and conditions state you can cancel within 10 days of joining if you give notice. Really very shocked!

Good size gym, nice variety of equipment. Friendly staff. They don't try to turn it into a rave like some gyms so you can listen to your own music without bother. It's kept very clean and is currently providing additional cleaning stations, due to Covid, with rules that everyone should clean up the equipment after use. Lockers require a £1 coin, which is a bit of a pain now most things are cashless.
