TaxAssist have proved a valuable accountancy service to my business over many years. They've helped me streamline my accounting and as a result have even provided savings on there services as well as my internal costs over the years. If only every business could save me money as well as help reduce my costs! Highly recommended!

Having now taken my accounting business elsewhere for the past couple of years I now realise when I previously used Tax Assist in Norwich I actually overpaid on my tax due to them. Therefore sadly I am unable to recommend. Luckily I’m getting back what was overpaid; a few years later!

I have used TaxAssist Accounts since starting my own business in November 2014. My previous experience as a paid (PAYE) employee meant I was not well versed in respect of all things tax! Thank goodness for Robin is all I can say. Over the last four years he has advised and guided me in respect of both my business accounting and self assessment. I always had the impression that seeing 'your accountant' would not be a particularly pleasant way to spend time but every time I go to see Robin and the team I am met with a hugely friendly (yet professional) group of people who are focused and engaging - so my previous impression has been blown out of the water and going in for coffee and a chat is a pleasure.

Robin ids never far away if I have concerns or queries, he is always quick to respond and he is able to explain things to me so that I understand - and that is very much appreciated. I like that I can pay for the teams services by direct debit - spending it across the year is extremely helpful and I love the fact that everything is done electronically making returns etc very easy and efficient to complete - but that doesn't stop me being able to go in the office to catch up!

What you get with Robin and the team is a personal and bespoke service. You are made to feel welcome, you get advise and guidance and explantations in a quick, sensible and understandable way. So thank you all for your help and support to me and my business. It is very much appreciated.

Robin and his team have served me well over many years, providing good advice and service at a reasonable price. The information provided on a regular basis following Budgets or even COVID-19 is hugely valuable and a great source of keeping up to date. Would recommend for small businesses. Keep up the good work.

I have used TaxAssist since setting up my business 12 months ago, Rob and his team are very efficient and knowledgeable. They take care of my tax, VAT, and PAYE for a very competitive set monthly fee. I would recommend Rob to anyone

Since we opened our business in 2018, we have worked closely with Robin and his team. The support and advice we have received in response to all our questions and requests for advice have been second to none. We would thoroughly recommend Robin and team to anyone. KOBO A-B

Incredibly disappointed with this company. My company was very young and as a french native I was searching for trusting professionals. After a video call with the CEO of this office and as they left me a good first impression, I chose to work with them. What a mistake...
After a few months, they told me that they disagreed on how to charge VAT on service for goods to be exported. They changed all my invoices on service for export in Quickbooks and included 20% of VAT (read section 15 of VAT notice 741A ). They made a mistake of £37K on my VAT return ! (including £20K to pay when I was NOT VAT registered !) As they don't want to submit a VAT correction form, I did it myself. As I did that, they decided to stop our partnership. They told me that even if we stop our partnership everything will be up to date at the end of the contract. lol They didn't do anything. Now, my new accountant agrees with me, but charges me on catch up fees for the job incorrectly done by this company.
I claimed a refund of 60% on all the payments (£273 per month + £550 of catchup fees) which I think is fair regarding the amount and the stressful situation but they keep their head in the sand like ostriches and are unable to recognise their mistakes... (3 to 5 emails in further months to try to find a solution before a complaint) Now a complaint is done, wait and see.
Don't be impressed by this kind of company telling you that they are experts and professionals. Charging £20K of VAT on a company which is not VAT registered, even a beginner will never make this kind of mistake.

EDIT : Of course in the public answer, they said that they will contact me and of course nobody done it... Don't trust them.
