I am self employed they have been extremely helpful and there rates are reasonable would recommend them to both large and s all companies.

WARNING Anybody using this accountant needs to change I know a good few people using him that are getting late filling penalties from 2016 I wouldn't let them sort my shed out never mind my accounts.

Still awaiting my personal accounts for 18/19 accounts to be submitted in December 2020, some 11 months late. I originally had my business accounts there but the management reports requested were late so we changed to another company. Until then, and to the best of my knowledge, my personal accounts were submitted on time. So to avoid the upheaval I kept them there. They were then submitted late but they paid the fine and as it was only £100 so I let it go. Now this year both my wife and I have separately received fines of £300 each. We’ve continually chased the accounts having received a £100 fine each. We are promised calls back. That’s happened once with lots of apologies. They have paid the now £300 fine on my account, but still not submitted the accounts according to HMRC who due to the lack of calls back from Cowgills I’ve been liaising with directly. I’ve now moved my personal accounts to another accountant as well and submitted them already for their review and final submission. So I’m now in the position where 2019–20 accounts will be submitted to HMRC before 2018-2019

As with previous reviewers I have received dire service from this office.
The front desk staff seem professional and helpful but beyond that I think that leaving my financial matters/accounts in their hands has been a regrettable / sometimes surreal experience ??
