Raynet Accounting Limited

Raynet care provided carers twice a day to visit my sister to assist her to remain on independent living. She is mentally unwell and is a vulnerable adult.

On Tuesday 15 November, I contacted the manager at Raynet care to ask if the carers had seen my sistervthat day. This was because I hadn't heard from her on that day which was most unusual. The manager reassured me saying her carers had visited my sister, but she had popped her head out of the window and told them to go away. As such I didn't take any further action.

The following day, I still hadn't heard from my sister. The Police had to gain access to her flat, where we found her collapsed by her bed, soaked in her own urine. She'd been there for around 36 hours. The dr informed me her kidneys weren't functioning properly due to the length of time she'd been lying on the floor.

The manager and her carers admitted they hadn't seen or heard from Georgina when they said they had. They also admitted that when this happened, they would let the office know, who would then phone the client. And if no response was obtained, the Police would be alerted. The manager admitted this hadn't happened and she just thought my sister would be ok. She could have died as a result of their negligence
