I’ve worked with Naylor Accounting Services for several years now and it was a great decision for us to engage them. They introduced us to the Xero online accounting platform, we are more up to date on our day to day bookkeeping than we have ever been. No longer do we have a box of receipts waiting to be gone through just before we do our VAT return.

Nikolai and his team are very knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful, the present Covid-19 crisis has been a perfect example of this. At the beginning of the pandemic when government support for business was announced, Nikolai’s team were able to sort through the detail and make sure we could benefit from the help on offer to keep up and running. Nikolai and Steve Brown, his practice manager, ran a series of weekly webinars during the initial lockdown keeping us all informed on the latest changes. It was evident from these that Nikolai and Steve are very good on detail. We have had additional webinars whenever there is a significant change or update to government policy.

If you are looking for an accountant I would really urge you to have a chat with Nikolai, I am so pleased that we did just that several years ago. He has made running our business a lot easier and we are able to spend more time doing what we are good at.

Naylors were commissioned to work at YMCA West Kent at the same time as I joined. Accounts had not been produced for 6 months and their work in catching up and producing a cash flow forecast was business critical. If we had not received this in timely fashion post their start, we would have likely wandered into an unrecoverable financial position. As it was this management information they produced allowed us to make structural changes that, whilst painful, put our charity on a stable and sustainable footing. They have been a great support and are easy to deal with, so I would have no problem recommending them.

We were a client of Naylor Accountancy for several years and the business relationship initially started well.
Unfortunately, the service levels went downhill over the last couple of years to the point where nearly everything was being outsourced overseas which was causing communication/client relationship issues/errors.

We, therefore, decided to find a new accountant and new bookkeeper to help us with the day-to-day running of our business. Since moving, we discovered that Naylor Accountancy had set up our auto-enrolment scheme incorrectly since it began back in 2017 causing a large underpayment which we have had to settle immediately.

Due to this professional negligence in setting up the auto-enrolment scheme with reasonable care and skill we are now having to pay the pension contribution shortfalls (employee and employer), together with the incurred professional fees relating to the matter.

I would urge any client of Naylor’s to ensure their pension scheme is being run correctly to ensure you do not find yourselves in the same position.
