Mr. Richard Baptiste is listed as a director of Westway Holdings Ltd. This company has failed to pay any interest to its bondholders in 2020 or honour its guarantees to refund capital borrowed. Baptiste & Co are listed as the accountants of Westway, but have not submitted accounts which are due to companies house.

If you attach any value to your company, I would think long and hard before having Baptiste & Co act as an accountant for you.
Richard setup my company and registered it at his own company address. The first I knew there was a problem was when my bank declined a withdrawal. My business bank account had been closed as my company had been struck off by Companies House. It turns out that Companies House had been sending letters to Richard requesting company filings. He never bothered to respond to them or notify me of any of this. They then shut the company down and the bank account was seized by the Treasury.
When asked about this sequence of events, Richard acknowledged that he had failed to notify me but that this was not his responsibility. This is in spite of the fact that he was the only individual that Companies House notified as it was his business address that he had registered my company at. When asked to resolve the issue he had created and have my struck off company reinstated, he had the audacity to ask me to pay him over £500 for his time to do this. If an accountant can't be bothered to text, email or phone their client to tell them their company is being closed down, he is not fit for purpose.
I have spoken with several other accountants and they have described his actions as gross misconduct. I would have to agree with them.
Be warned, do not waste your time dealing with this negligent individual, you will regret it!!

You claim you were unable to contact me which is an outright lie. Your own email confirmed to me you had not attempted to contact me since 2019.
I have spoken with Companies House, they have told me over the phone and in writing that they would never contact the director at their listed address. You were the only person notified of the striking off of my company being as you registered the company at your own address and you failed to notify me of this.
Your response to having my company reinstated was an email which perfectly exhibited your indifference to attending to the matter, by your own words "This is not a type of work we are desperate for - it is time consuming, paper based and can be a real pain."
Since our last interaction, you have not replied to any of my emails and have deflected my phone calls. This is not the actions of a professional. Your own actions have condemned you.
