I had the terrible experience of contracting Nimble Jack Accounting services. I have paid them for a few months and they did not perform any work at all. The company is quite small and they cannot handle all requested work.

I have been using Nimble Jack Accounting for nearly 3 years and the service has been consistently excellent. Rachelle and team have always been willing to help me with business issues, questions, advice beyond the standard accountancy services.

Scam

The company failed to produce my SA on time, and had to be reminded of doing so, when they did, it was completely wrong numerous times and had to be prompted for each change, plus they had recorded gains instead of losses (making my tax calculation incorrect and leaving me owing HMRC thousands of pounds). Instead of recognising their mistakes, they then ignored them, became completely unresponsive, and in the end tried to pass on the blame back to me. Instead of them calculating out what was wrong, and verifying it before reposting the correct figures, they left it all for me to tell them everything instead. Definitely not trustworthy. They cannot produce the work that is asked of them either as another customer said, and seem to give completely wrong tax advice that even clashes against official HMRC guidelines and regulations more often than not (which again they did not admit). They also had to be prompted and be reminded before deadlines to file VAT returns, and payroll submissions, as opposed to the other way around, which is to chase the client and remind them to get everything ready by a set deadline (which I always met).

In the end, they left me in a complete pickle having charged me thousands of pounds in unrecoverable monthly instalments, with huge stress and economical hardship, and two sets of accounts and a vat return left incomplete.

I shall hope they come into investigation one day.. as clearly this company was an unorganised chaotic disaster, which anyone should avoid at all costs - you have been warned.

This company was good for a couple of years. As of the end of 2017 they are beyond terrible. All of their phone numbers are "not in service". They never respond to contact requests. I have been trying to get them to submit two self assessments, I provided all information months ago, they lost most of it, now they won't even respond to me to tell me what is missing. The deadline is tomorrow with HMRC, I will miss it and incur fines for both accounts as they don't have the information and wont tell me what they need. I know lots of staff have left recently but the company is dead as far as I can see.

Follow up as of June 2018 - The company has gone out of business, they are still trying to steal money from clients by taking Direct Debit payments. I had to pay a new firm over £1,000 for work they hadn't done. I believe some people are taking legal action against them to recover fees paid for work not completed. I doubt that will have success.

Been with them a few years. From the beginning they were pretty clueless. They remained clueless until they stopped contacting me altogether and now I have penalties for VAT and PAYE missed payments. Literally the most pathetic company I've ever dealt with. And now I have to pay another company in advance to sort my accounts which Nimble Jack have failed to sort despite me paying them a monthly fee for the past year.

It pains me to give them even a single star. Avoid at all costs. [update] They vanished without completing my vat return or self assessment and left me to deal with the consequences despite being unable to access any of my accountancy data. When I eventually managed to extract enough info from them to get my new accountant up and running much later (and after many phonecalls to hmrc who didn't believe the excuse "my accountant has disappeared off the face of the planet" as it seemed so bizarre), it took them months to unpick some of the bizarre things Nimble Jack had been doing. My new (excellent) accountants were horrified. I agree with other reviewers, hardeep should be locked up. Wouldn't go back if you gave me free accounting for the rest of my life! Have very much used my real name here too, so you've clearly also managed to lose all your client info. Health issues do not excuse ghosting paying clients you morons 🤦‍♀️

Scam Scam. The company is small and they cannot handle all request. Furthermore In my particular case I was charged for 4 month and NIMBLE JACK ACCOUNTING LTD did not did any work whatsoever. Instead the company director was always finding excuses to not perform his duties. It not true that he was ill as the DIRECTOR wrote in his attempt to lie in his response!! The scam incident was on 2016. The director was reported on ACCA by more than one customer. Thanks for free accounting compensation. I would rather want the money BACK. you are lucky that I did not sent you to court.

Nimble Jack Accounting it is a one man company, Unfortunately I am not able to recommend it, this is due to the fact the director keeps updating companies house records with incorrect information. Criminally negligent accounting !!! Nimble Jack Accounting caused many problems to my company. Be careful Nimble Jack Accounting is a scam company.
