I have been seeing Debs for some time now, she has a truly dedicated and amazing talent for her work. I highly recommend her services, especially for fertility help, I am now 16 weeks into my pregnancy and feeling great, I feel regular visits and Debs magic touch has played a huge role in this. I never knew acupuncture could help in this way and much much more! If you are wondering how acupuncture can help you with your health and wellbeing Debs is the lady to see! She is amazing, you will not feel disapointed,I honestly sometimes feel as though im floating home after my visits!x

I cannot recommend Debs highly enough. After deciding to take the plunge with IVF last year, I’d read that acupuncture could increase success rates - I was sceptical. I had an initial consultation with Debs and since then, she has wholeheartedly supported me through my journey. From preparation of my body for egg retrieval (I got more quality eggs at 39 with acupuncture than at 34 without) through to helping me relax my body before embryo transfer, I couldn’t have asked for better care. I am now a true believer that Debs’ style fully supports the fertility journey and I always feel fantastic after a session. She’s very compassionate, knowledgeable and now, at 16 weeks pregnant after my first attempt at IVF, I consider her a good friend and am looking forward to continuing our sessions throughout my pregnancy. For anybody struggling with fertility or considering the IVF process, I would thoroughly recommend contacting her for a chat.

I started seeing Debs in February to help with my fertility after a miscarriage last year. In our first session, Debs took a full history and offered lifestyle advice (in an entirely non-judgemental way) to help with my irregular cycles and maximise my chances of getting pregnant.
Throughout the journey Debs has been incredibly supportive, providing not only physical, but emotional support on tough days.
I fell pregnant on my third cycle of acupuncture and have continued treatment through my pregnancy so far as well (now on wk 20) - which has really helped me to relax into the pregnancy, especially when I was feeling particularly anxious in the first trimester.
Beyond this, I find the treatment itself to be a lovely, mindful experience and a great way to switch off for 30mins in the midst of a busy week.
To anyone who is the on the fence about trying acupuncture - for any ailment - I would absolutely encourage them to give it a try with Debs!

I met with Debs when my hormones were still out of whack 2 years after having my first child and my cycles had never returned. I reached out to Deborah as I was feeling really rough with early pregnancy symptoms including all day nausea, low energy and increased anxiety. Deborah called me back on the same day, was so helpful and reassuring on the phone and offered to see me that same day. It was so lovely to hear an empathetic and understanding voice! This was my first experience of acupuncture and I loved it. The sessions were incredibly relaxing and effective in helping to manage my symptoms. I recently hit the 40 weeks pregnant mark and was keen to find a local acupuncturist experienced in inducing labour before any medical intervention is planned.

Having not experienced acupuncture before, I was keen to understand and talk through the process and what to expect from the treatment. I contacted 3 practitioners in East Dulwich, one who never replied, one who sounded more transactional than therapist, and then Deborah.

Deborah calmly and confidently talked me through everything on the phone and additionally on a video-call prior to our first session, instantly putting me at ease and giving me comfort in my decision. She asked many questions about my health and pregnancy to scope out if acupuncture was an appropriate course of action, offering advice and suggestions to my pregnancy ailments throughout the conversations.

We have since completed two acupuncture sessions where Debs talked me through what was going to happen, including where the needles were going and what the sensations of the needles would feel like. She played relaxing music and chatted to me during the waiting period, answering my questions about side effects on my way out.

Each session has been followed by progressive signs of imminent labour, and we have just planned in session 3 - labour inducing acupuncture normally takes between 1 and 3 sessions - although maybe we will have an addition before then!
