Came in from Southend for a spot of lunch. Take fuel and skip the landing fee, young chap filled us up and pushed the aircraft into a safe space whilst we enjoyed our sandwiches and coffees. Friendly people in the cafe and bar area, enjoyed watching the coming and going from the conservatory before making our way home. Thanks for having us!

A student pilot on a solo navigation. The staff were very friendly and the radio operator very helpful (and patient with me). Great place for a cuppa and I hear only good things about the cheesecake.

Great little Airfield with ww2 history having the B17 wing flying out of there. Wacky Wabbit flight was awsome, I had the battle of Britain extreme fighter package. Dave my pilot was great, very informative with the manouvers and rolls he performed. Hats off and respect to all those brave young men sent out in to battle with just a few hours of training. Makes you think of what they went through.

I would not recommend this place for flight experience. I have been booked in twice and neither times have I actually got to fly. First time pilot had covid and they rang up the day before to cancel, totally understandable. However the second time I arrived at the air field only to be told there was no pilot available. No communication or answer phone message left. Myself and my sister (who the gift was for) both travelled an hour to get there only to be turned away, really disappointing. I won't be trying a third time so my voucher is basically useless. Embarrassing situation as like I said it was a gift for my sister.

Looking for a stress free, inexpensive, tranquil fly out/bacon sandwich? This is just the place. Easy to find in some beautiful flat countryside, too. : )

Visited to go to a classic car meet, the car meet was small but had a nice variety of cars.
They have a small cafe for snacks and drinks.
They operate fixed wing and helicopters from the site you can learn to fly from £68 just contact them and sort out what you need.
They can also arrange flights in classic aircraft contact them direct to find out more.
The runway here is Tarmac and it has a nice easy approach and exit although you often have to deal with a cross wind.
