The Savanna Paddington

I pass The Sevanna on the way home and it’s my special treat to buy £2 worth of droë wors. They have original, chilli chutney, perri-perri and garlic. All very good. The service is friendly. They have some good wines, sweets, rusks etc. Just the things you need for a bit of home country delight.

They think I visit the shop for the awesome chilli bites, dry wors, boere wors and snacks but in reality, I stop by to get my day made which they manage to do every time without even knowing it. I always leave with a smile. Great quality products, great people great shop. Keep it lekker.

Amazing! So happy to see an SA shop. Got some wonderful biltong, after having a funny conversation with a member of staff. Not going to be able to stop buying something every time I walk past now.

Ordered a few things, I was overcharged by £10 (I don’t usually pay attention to the machine cause why would anyone do that)

Was given some free sample biltong cause the guy was super sweet, but woke up the next morning and couldn’t stop throwing up

Been coming to this little store in Paddington Station for years, all the staff are super friendly, the chilly chutney biltong is the best!

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here today. Went in to buy some items and the lady proceeded to snap at me about her card machine not working! She barked at me about losing 20 pounds and was so incredibly rude. I'll never go back here and sadly I didn't even get what I came in for.

Easily my favourite South African shops. It is easy to get to and is in a perfect location if you are using the underground.
