The company agreed to provide a Mercedes Benz E-Class “Executive Minicab” with a “meet and greet” in which the driver would wait for me at the arrivals area of the airport. The price charged for this service was £67 and the distance was 11 miles.

Unfortunately this service was not provided. Instead, after arriving on-time myself, I was called and told to wait in the car park and that the car would be 20 minutes late. After 30 minutes had passed, at 09:00, i was called and informed that the driver would be another 5 minutes late. I had flown in for a funeral, for which I would now be late. I was also informed that I would be picked up in a VW, not the Mercedes Benz E-Class as agreed.

I appreciated the difficulties with the traffic that day, however this is why I had booked the service in the first place. As the provider of this service I expected the circumstances to be foreseen and ensure that the expectations would be met.
