I had my first flying lesson here and it was nothing shy of amazing. For a very very reasonable cost of 80 pounds, you get to spend about an hour meeting and greeting your instructor. Who then takes you around the plane that you will be flying and you both carry out safety checks.
You then get on board and get strapped and secured in. It doesn't look it, but it is quite comfortable once you are inside.
You then go through the start up process and away you go. Your instructor takes off and lands the plane. Average flight time is minimum half an hour, but you may get longer like I did, if the runway is busy.
The flight was just awesome. My instructor John was very informative and and one of the best instructors I have ever had.
The views are stunning and I got to fly the plane at 3000ft. How many people can say that?
I absolutely loved my experience and this is all I will purchase for friends and family for presents from now on.

Prices have raised and I wasn't able to afford the clock bag I had my eyes on for a while. I did get a good deal on some meat 🍖

Visited the Saturday market which was very busy but a lot of good stalls and bargains to be had! Great variety of goods!

Sad! First trip out to Wellsbourne Market since pandemic! A long wasted journey from Birmingham! Instead of previous 4/5 aisles of fully laden stalls, there were just 2 rows spaced out VERY wide apart! ... and whilst I can understand and appreciate the need for space/proximity to others to prevent disease spread...it was VERY over the top! Clearly many traders don't want to display there any longer! SAD! Won't be going again I'm afraid.

Brilliant, never seen such a bunch of charlatans, rogues ,chavvies ,hedge hunters , tarts and characters in one place. I loved it where else could you buy a sack of potatoes for £3 and some air Jordans for £20 and bought some absolute bargains like 2 pairs a Nike shorts and t shirt for £30 and had a belting pork roll .

Nice well kept airfield. Cafe basic but good. Food was nice and good service. Defiantly worth a visit and easy to get to.....
