Been closed 4yrs currently temporary lorry park for #0perationStack. DCO re application to be sent to PINSgov to open as freight/commuter flights and state of the art airport. Also at same time current owners trying to change use to develop mixed use commercial and houses. Local plan currently states aviation use only.

CLOSED IN 2014.
Future still undecided, pending results of Planning Inspectorate enquiry, so no flights from here for years to come- if ever. Looking for aircraft? then go to one of the local museums instead. Much better bet... and more reliable.

It's an important place for truck drivers from European Union. You must get tis place when you go back to EU from United Kingdom.
Follow everyone advice from staff.
Here you'll get free Covid test and you'll answer some questions about your goods . After if you have a negative test and good loading paper you go to the port. To get to port of Dover follow road A256.
Good luck for everyone🙂

Smashing place! Great for truck spotters alike, unexpectedly visited yesterday to find truckload of Lorries. I know where I'm getting my next food shop! Rule Britannia!

Hopefully the airport reopens soon. It closed in 2014. Reopening the airport would create thousands of new jobs, and benefit the local population.
The aviation industry is not to blame for climate change. It contributes a tiny amount. Let the airport reopen!
